About the role:
- To ensure effective and efficient operation and maintenance of the airport mechanical system including but not limited to Fire water and potable water systems, waste water collection and treatment system, fire fighting system, life and safety system, heavy duty sectional and coiling door, heavy duty Overhead and gantry cranes, elevators and walklators etc
- Plan, supervise, Perform operation and maintenance activities for all Mechanical Assets and keep updated technical information of Mechanical assets, the associated spare parts usage and spares management.
- To plan, supervise and delegate all mechanical systems preventive and corrective work in accordance to the OEM, international and local codes of practice so as to ensure minimal wastage of manpower and resources by appropriate planning, coordination and works supervision.
- Ensure that all the mechanical systems preventive/corrective maintenance works are executed inline and compliance with FM-Assets management system and perform regular Quality assurance audits.
- Review/approve contractor proposals, method statements, material submittals, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, review of new project impact on the facilities, investigating of equipment deficiency, review of the proposed changes to the facility to deliver assets in accordance with standards, regulations and HIA specifications.
- Establish, contribute and evaluated Mechanical Team objectives, plans, procedures, practices and priorities to be aligned with the support business objectives.
- To ensure that employees at all levels understands work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of QR-group induction, information and instruction, training and supervision.
