Lufthansa Technik Engine Mechanic Careers
As the Engine Mechanic, you will perform the following duties:
- Follow instructions from operational manager and internal processes and procedures.
- Read and understand manufacturer maintenance documentation.
- Perform self-reliant removal, installation and inspection tasks on engine/QEC components.
- Sign related shop documentation after task performance.
- Take delegated technical decisions and actions to ensure economical and on time performance of maintenance task.
- Ensure quality standard, health and safety in the shop.
- Support quality department by reporting occurrences, FOD checks and quality scans.
- Support quality department for audit preparation and execution.
- Ensure tool care.
- Perform daily housekeeping.
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to company issues at all times.
The ideal Engine Mechanic must fulfill the following requirements:
- Graduate of aviation maintenance or engineering course or equivalent.
- Disassembly/assembly of engines or QEC from/to engines preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge in human factors and aviation legislation.
- High sense of responsibility.
- Knowledge of English language required to read and understand rules, instructions and manuals.
- Computer knowledge required for access rules, instructions and manuals.
- Ability to work independently and to take responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willing to extend knowledge and experience.
- Willing to attend classroom and hand-on trainings.
- Willing to work in flexible working time and shifts.
