Introduction:

Boeing Ireland Ltd are a Dublin based EASA & UK-CAA Part 145 approved organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on Boeing 737NG / MAX, 787 and 777 aircraft at London Gatwick. Due to the continued expansion we are looking for experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics to join our organisation. Prospective candidates must be able to demonstrate at least six months recent experience on Boeing 737NG / MAX, 787 and 777 aircraft.

The positions are shift-based roles to be based at our London Gatwick Hangar.
The roles will report to the Maintenance Manager - Production.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Base Maintenance & Modifications on customer aircraft

  • Ensure compliance with all procedures associated with the Base Maintenance & Modifications of customer aircraft.

  • Report all incidents and occurrences and ensure accurate record is entered into the Boeing safety management system.

  • Report any technical issues, discrepancies or other issues to the Lead Engineer.

  • Ensure all planned aircraft work is carried out as scheduled and liaise with Shift Leader and Production Planning to maximise our customers’ downtime.

  • Ensure all aircraft paperwork, technical logs, and work packs are completed accurately, within prescribed timescales and in conjunction with the Lead Engineer / LAE.

  • Undertake any reasonable activities in support of our maintenance operation, including working away from London Gatwick.
