TUI Airways Aircraft Engineer Careers
As a B1 Licenced Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance tasks, inspections, modifications, repairs and system functions to a high standard of safety in line with company processes, procedures and within the scope of their company approval. You’ll take accountability to complete all work to a high quality and acceptable standard in a timely manner to meet company demands and Part-145 regulatory requirements.
You’ll have enthusiasm and perseverance with a positive attitude with flexibility to change and adapt to situations to meet the company demands.
These roles will work annualised hours, predominantly covering a winter maintenance programme. Shifts will cover days/lates.
- Accountable to complete all tasks assigned in a safe and efficient manner, and ensuring high standards are maintained
- Maintain the correct time keeping and ensure all tasks are job booked correctly for yourself or allocated teams to ensure accurate recording of maintenance hours spent on task
- Responsible to comply with all relevant company, regulatory & aircraft procedures (for example, tool and FOD control, general health & safety, hangar housekeeping, and aircraft safety)
- Ensure all work completed meets company processes, EASA/CAA/LBA regulatory requirements and responsible for the technical oversight of work area
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with peers and Aircraft Mechanics to maintain the high standards TUI has developed
- Responsible for the continued duty of care and safety of peers within the hangar and line environment when working in that area
- Embrace and be responsible for implementing company safety requirements. Be vigilant for and report occurrences/hazards using the correct company processes
